nope, you can test thoroughly before publishing your site. I'd recommend using our Sandboxes functionality https://docs.stripe.com/sandboxes to create an isolated Stripe account for testing purposes

once you have your test site implemented you can use the following test cards / credentials to simulate various payment scenarios https://docs.stripe.com/testing
