I am aware that Billie is not a payment method that I can use with invoices but I am still trying to figure out a way how to do this. Are you aware or do you know any smart way to solve this?

Hello, apologies for missing this question initially. For out of Stripe payments, the typical flow is to mark the invoice as paid out of band. It isn't possible to do the same action on payment intents unfortunately, those require actual payments to be marked as paid.

We also have a more in depth payment records API that can help handle this. If marking the invoice as paid out of band serves your use-case you don't need to look in to this one, but this could be helpful depending on what you are trying to implement.
