👋 Welcome to your new thread!

⏲️ We'll be here soon! Typically we respond in a few minutes, but sometimes we might take a bit longer if the server is busy or if you have a particularly tricky question.

⏱️ We close idle threads, which makes them read-only. Once a thread is closed it won't be reopened, but you can always start a new thread if you have another question.

hi there!

Hi

stable ermine
#

what is the minimum required API calls to successfully get our kickbacks
I'm not sure I understand this. what do you mean by kickbacks here?

white glade
#

So with Connected Accounts we onboard our customers using oAuth linking their accounts with ours. Then for every transaction they complete with them linked to our account we get a kickback (a small percentage) of the transaction

#

But it has to be done using our account details, hence the proxy server

#

Its a question to know whether API calls like creating customers, etc can avoid using our proxy server with us still being able to get the kickback

hi there, can you share an example request ID where a payment intent is created? I just want to see if I understand what kickbacks you're referring to

thank you. I see you're using Checkout Sessions, but I'm not seeing any application fees, which I thought was what you were referring to. do you know the nature of how the kickback is forwarded to you?

Learn about direct charges, a Connect charge type where you create a charge for a connected account on the connected account and can transfer funds to the platform.

Unfortunately not. That was handled by others. I just coded the thing as requested
