Metadata isn't synced across associated objects really.. So you can't set metadata on a PaymentLink and expect it to show up on charge Object

Try setting it on payment_intent_data.metadata instead

It should come through with payment_intent.succeeded event

What about listeing to checkout succedded event?

and just using the metadata there, because I can see it there and I already process those events.
