I'm using also both Address Elements (shipping and billing mode), however I cannot use Tax ID Element, because "the Tax ID Element is only available when using Elements with the Checkout Sessions API."
Is there any other way to attach tax_id to the billing address while using Payment Intents?
So the docs indicate that's only used for transactions between LATAM buyers and non-LATAM sellers: https://docs.stripe.com/api/payment_methods/create#create_payment_method-billing_details-tax_id
Does that apply to your scenario?
Also can you share the request id of the confirmation request where this is failing?
I'm in EU, so if that's not possible for EU, I'll probably add tax_id to the metadata
