Sorry I am not the developer so I dont have technical info but they said this: "We have re-read the Stripe recommendation, and I can confirm that the steps we are currently following for authorization are exactly those outlined in Solution 1 (Over-Capture & Instant Release). We use the original PaymentIntent for a partial capture, which is the mechanism Stripe suggests for instantly releasing the remaining funds back to the bank"
Main goal is to release that pending balance as soon as possible. If its on the credit card/bank side like you said than it may be out of our control
I'd recommend having your developer speaking with us as this is a technical forum. As explained though, we cannot control how long banks takes to release/update authorisations. Likelihood is that is the overall issue here
