Ok, I will do that. So if I really want my customers to be able to use the PM configuration tools in their dashboards, I need to manually create the Payment Intents.... which means I can't use invoices at all?
Could I like associate the payment later with an invoice? Using the Invoice Payment functionality?

If it comes to you needing to set Payment Methods for an Invoice yourself, you could also read the Payment Method Configuration and then use the information from it to populate payment_settings.payment_method_types.
