to test a disconnection, you can power off the reader or disable its network: https://docs.stripe.com/terminal/payments/connect-reader?terminal-sdk-platform=react-native&reader-type=bluetooth#:~:text=You can simulate an unexpected disconnect while testing by powering off the reader
you don't need to manually disconnect the reader after a successful payment
