๐Ÿ‘‹ Welcome to your new thread!

โฒ๏ธ We'll be here soon! Typically we respond in a few minutes, but sometimes we might take a bit longer if the server is busy or if you have a particularly tricky question.

โฑ๏ธ We close idle threads, which makes them read-only. Once a thread is closed it won't be reopened, but you can always start a new thread if you have another question.

๐Ÿ”— This thread will always be available, even after it's closed. You can find it again using Discord's search, or you can save this link: https://discord.com/channels/841573134531821608/1448624133985538103

hey there ๐Ÿ‘‹ taking over for my colleague

two questions:

  1. do you have the USB-C power cable plugged in?
  2. does the reader prompt you to connect to a wifi network when you turn it on?

Hi! We are connected to Ethernet using the hub and Stripe USB-C cable. The terminal has Internet, but the problem is that it is DHCP. We would like to have a dedicated IP on our network for the terminals. No it do not request to connect to Wifi

๐Ÿ‘‹ taking over for my colleague. Let me catch up.

Hi!

static IPs are supported, but you need to make sure that the static IP is binded to the MAC address of the reader. you also need to make sure that your DHCP releases the IP address you want to assign to your reader (it's possible that it's already assigned). I suggest setting a static IP that is outside of the DHCP IP range

Thank you We will try this and let you know

#

we only need to set up server side? nothing to set up in the terminal itself?
