AFAIK you can only add a real bank account in testmode
(For payouts)
Or that used to be the case
Did those numbers come from the 'use test account' button?
Does that only apply to UK? I think we have always been testing with the test accounts without problems. This happened today
Yes
Can you share the request to create an account session? Or just the acct_ id of the account that is going through onboarding
acct_1SakUAFFKY2k3ruJ
We are using the react embedded onboarding component https://docs.stripe.com/connect/embedded-onboarding if that's relevant
The EUR currency test account does work
but not the UK GBP one with sort code
Thank you, from what I gathered from doc it does not allow fake test account in live mode, but we are using test mode with sk_test api keys
okay I was able to reproduce this. The only thing I can think of is if this is related to cross-border payouts but this is a custom account and I think that should be fine. Looking more closely
Thanks, keep me updated if you find a fix
Will do; discussing with a colleague
I think this is likely a bug. I'm trying again with a different account type just to see if there is a difference
sorry, testing onboarding is always a slow process
no worries
I'm going to have our bot send you a link to create a support case. We'll ask our product team about this and provide you with a fix or a description of what's going wrong.
