So mostly you want to talk about the concept of manual capture, I think.
Do you need to sometimes capture less than the full amount you authorize for the in-person payments integration you're building?
Hmmmm what does manual capture means?
And "capture" means the amount of funds that Stripe is actually going to request from the issuer, as distinct from the amount that is "authorized".
To put this in broad e-commerce terms, if you have a household and two parents working all the time and you order a bunch of stuff from Amazon or Target or what-have-you, and you submit your card details, they'll authorize, say $300 on your card for the maximum total of the order, and then they'll figure out what they actually have available to ship to you and they'll capture that amount

Yeah so if you just don't define capture method on the PaymentIntent, we default to automatic capture
