For question 1, could you please clarify what you mean by "Is there a way around this"?
To clarify, by default, for Stripe hosted onboarding, your connected accounts will go through an initial round of verification, including identity verification and business information verification. If there are updates needed for verification, you will need to send your connected accounts back to the hosted onboarding link to update any required verification details. docs
