I am implementing Connect. And want to test a user creating a Stripe Connect account.

Hi there ๐ jumping in as my teammate needs to step away soon. Are you testing file uploads as part of your verification process? Or actually, looks like this is an Express Connected Account, are you using our hosted onboarding flow?
Hi. I just want to create a Connect Account. I am taken to the onboarding, and once it is completed, all reviews are successful. But the 'Provide Proof of Directors' is under review and not completed. Thus the account is restricted.
The 'Request Information' Button does ask for any information, it just takes me to the Express Dashboard.
Are you providing the Connect test values through our hosted onboarding, or are you prefilling information for your Connected Accounts? I'm trying to get an understanding of what test data was used so we can confirm what test outcomes are expected.
Using Connect Test values when I have the option. For example for the phone number and bank account. But for others, I am just typing random words.
Looks like you used hosted onboarding. I see a log for a step where you had to verify an ID, do you recall seeing this step and/or what you did at that point?
Yes, I did skip it, and it gave me an option to submit as 'Successful Verification'
If you instead use the option to submit it as a successful verification, does a pending verification still occur?
I did submit it as a succesful verification.
Oh, I thought you said you skipped it, sorry for my misunderstanding.
I mean I skipped the actual ID upload, (it gives the option to skip)
Are you able to consistently reproduce this behavior?
Perfect! Since we don't have clear replication steps, can you record a video of you going through the onboarding flow so we can see exactly what you enter at every step and see if we can reproduce?

I wouldn't put an actual address in, but instead use one of our test values:

and our test DOB:
https://docs.stripe.com/connect/testing#test-dobs
Basically take a look through the test doc and use test values whenever they're an option, that way all of our verification checks will be happy.
