Yep, both of those events will be triggered for async payments where you don't know the result for some time. You can listen to either of them, the difference is what info is immediately available on the object, but you can retrieve the same info after receiving either event
Thanks, is there a preference on best practice on which event to listen for when handling SEPA payments?
Nope, either is valid to use. payment_intent.processing might be a bit easier because it is the more recent API and more of our APIs use it, but the intent's ID will be in the charge event so you can easily access that from there too.
