๐ Hi
hello!
What seems to be the issue you are having at the moment?
I see the goals you outlined. Are you having an issue with any of those aims particularly?
We just want someone to check our work to make sure what we've set up will accomplish that, as well as allow us to skim an app fee off the side.
will accomplish our goals*
So yes, direct charges will make the Connected account the MoR. With direct charges the Connected account recieves the funds directly so there is no need to payout funds. Making the Connected account responsible for refunds and charge backs.
When processing a Payment on the Connected account using the account-header you can specify a application_fee_amount, to collect a fee that will be deposited to your platform.
Awesome cool got all that.
does it look like that's what we've done with this test account? https://dashboard.stripe.com/acct_1SX67rH1DSMqzZZj/test/payments/pi_3SX6LdH1DSMqzZZj1HWSnCAx
Sign in to the Stripe Dashboard to manage business payments and operations in your account. Manage payments and refunds, respond to disputes and more.
Looking at the request that made the pi req_eIhhsIgazONU1d I can see this was a Direct charge made using the account-header and an application_fee_amount was set
So it appears everything is working as intended for your use case.
Amazing. Anything else we should consider? For taxes or anything else?
Were you planning on having the Connect user to use automatic tax?
