hi there!
I'm also fairly confused about what the site-links are supposed to be, so if you could point me to the corresponding documentation, that would also be appreciated.
If it helps, here is one of the failing request IDs: req_YWfC6WrTe6ZSPV
when you click the link in the error, you don't see a page like this?
and here's the relevant documentation:
Before you can create a live mode Account Session, you must provide the URLs where you have integrated the embedded components into your website. Configure the sending email domain and embedded component URLs in the Site links section of your platform’s Connect settings.
https://docs.stripe.com/connect/build-full-embedded-integration#handle-redirects-from-email-links
No, I don't see a page like this 🤔 I'm send to the dashboard home page. Weird. The documentation helps, although I'm pretty sure we are not attempting a "fully embedded" Connect integration like this, so maybe something's amiss with our settings?
I.e. what is the alternative to a "fully embedded" integration and how are they distinguished?
I'm just now noticing this line in the docs for the account link endpoint: "For an account without Stripe-hosted Dashboard access where Stripe is liable for negative balances, you must use embedded components."
"For an account without Stripe-hosted Dashboard access where Stripe is liable for negative balances" - that is pretty much our setup
Is that the reason I'm getting this error, when calling the API endpoint? In that case - would giving our connected accounts dashboard access solve the issue?
Still weird, that the link in the error message is not working for me, though.
I agree it's strange, looking into this.
Here's a screenshot of our Connect settings page. There does not appear to be an entry for "site links" here either.
Anyway, I don't think using a fully embedded setup is an option for us, right now. Does that mean, we have to give dashboard access to our connected accounts? Can you confirm or deny that?

how od you want the connected account to manage their account?
👋 taking over for my colleague. Let me catch up.

I'm out of office right now, will have to try later. Thanks!
Go ahead. Like I said, embedded components are not an option for us, right now, so even if the link works, we need to find another option.
Thanks!

you can select no
you can whitelist the whole experience if you like. or you can use the express dashboard with an express account instead of custom
