Hi there, cross border transfers like this are only possible when the platform is in the US, I'm afraid

hi

How can I pay creators located in the United States from my France-based Stripe platform?
This is a critical requirement for my business without this capability, my marketplace cannot operate.
Are there supported solutions for this scenario? What do you recommend?

#

It doesn’t seem realistic that a global platform like Stripe would only allow payouts within Europe.
There must be a solution for paying US-based creators from a France-based platform.

We're bound by regulations that means this is the case. I'm not aware of any workarounds

I think you might not have all the information. It’s impossible that Stripe can’t send payments internationally there must be a solution. Do you know where I can ask about this? Is there an email or a specific support channel I should contact?
Because in your explanation, it would mean that every European business using Stripe is unable to pay their suppliers abroad. That can’t be right. Are you saying Stripe is restricted only within Europe?

Cross-border payouts enable you to pay sellers, freelancers, content creators, and service providers in their local currencies. You can transfer funds to connected accounts in other countries with your existing platform account and charge configuration.

Note
Stripe determines whether to enable cross-border payouts based on your platform profile. If they aren’t enabled and you want to use them, contact Stripe Support.

Hi there, taking over for @midnight forum as they had to step away

The specific feature of cross-border payouts is US-only unfortunately, as noted in the docs. Your best bet is as you mentioned, which is to contact support at https://support.stripe.com/?contact=true (it opens an AI agent, you ask it to open a support case) and someone with more regulatory knowledge can work with you (this channel is staffed by developers for integration support)
