πŸ‘‹ Welcome to your new thread!

⏲️ We'll be here soon! Typically we respond in a few minutes, but sometimes we might take a bit longer if the server is busy or if you have a particularly tricky question.

⏱️ We close idle threads, which makes them read-only. Once a thread is closed it won't be reopened, but you can always start a new thread if you have another question.

Minor note. In the example code snippet, I put Stripe::Invoice.preview instead of Stripe::Invoice.create_preview

Hi πŸ‘‹ do you have the ID of the request related to this question?

I have the invoice id that gets returned. Thats upcoming_in_1SVZrM2FNYSW8XZhjudXTsqH

#

(I'm doing this in test mode if that makes a difference)

#

Thank you! Let me see what I can pull up with that.

Hm, yeah this doesn't look right according to our docs. Let me double check that field wasn't introduced by a later API version or something like that.

#

Looks like a bug to me, let me see if this has already been flagged.

#

I think I'm going to have to flag this to the appropriate product team for further investigation. But that will take me a bit due to the number of threads going on here. Thank you for taking the time to flag this to us!

strong ridge
#

No problem! Do you think the bug is just that the field isn't being returned or that it isn't being created at all?

grizzled ice
#

I'm not exactly sure, but I suspect that it isn't being returned.

strong ridge
#

Ok thanks for looking into that for me! Is there any way I can keep track of this issue to make the necessary code changes when it gets sorted out?

grizzled ice
#

Yeah, let's go ahead and turn this into a support case, so I can associate that with the bug I file. Our bot should send you a DM shortly.

I've got that case. I'll work on reproing and filing with the right team and get back to you there.
