๐ Hi there. Just taking a look into the terminal eligibity requirements, bear with me..
thank you๐
So yes, it seems that because the account you're attempting to access this from (acct_1SNccxCFCYWUNuJo) is a HU account, it won't be possible. It will be need to an account with a supported country: https://support.stripe.com/questions/stripe-terminal-country-and-currency-availability
this is a bit worrying, as our company is based in Hungary but our clients are based all around the globe so we have to develop the solution in hungarian office for usage all around the world.
How can we start the development then ?
Will you be using Connect, where you have connected accounts in the client countries?
not sure, we are a payment agnostic self checkout Kiosk provider who adapts and integrates to partner needs. One of our potential partner is based in Singapore and uses bbpos wise-e terminals so we want to facilitate their needs by providing a terminal integration with Stripe.
What would be the best way to do that ?
so we wouldn't handle the client account or anything like that via connect, just want to be able to use the Kiosk with integrated stripe terminals
๐ Taking over this thread, catching up now
Unfortunately, the terminal reader can only be supported in the countries as listed in the doc. If you're going to develop the solution for a partner in Singapore, I'd recommend setting up a Sandbox in Singapore and have the reader registered to that specific SG account for testing purpose. If it doesn't work, I'd recommend checking with Support https://support.stripe.com/contact if there is any other way which you can develop the solution from an unsupported country

hi, we will try the sandbox environment for Singapore as a start and reach out to support if it doesn't work out. Thank you for your kind support๐
