Does the document saying that this parameter is deprecated mean that it will no longer be used in the future? Is it still okay for me to continue using it?

Yeah, it's fine to keep on using it. Even if this parameter gets removed in the future, it won't break your existing integration

Any breaking changes like that are made as part of a new major API version, and would be listed here: https://docs.stripe.com/changelog
