Hi there. The permission specific to the connected account and the platform is not the same.

#

You'll need to double check the permissions.

api key that i am using has full access

#

@rough knot ^ - Is it possible to specific what exact permission is missing? The stripe api key used has full access without any restrictions. I would like to understand what is causing this issue

Ok, I understand what's going on here.

#

The account in question is an Express Account. Platforms do not have the ability to update PII for Express connected accounts, it can only be updated via the Express Dashboard. This is why you're seeing the error being returned which is completely unrelated.

ohh. thanks for the clarification, we are supposed to create it as custom account. I am not sure how it ended up as express account.

Ah, that makes sense.

How to i check the account type in the stripe dashboard?

rough knot
#

In the list of connected accounts there's an "Account type" column.

#

You may need to enable it by clicking on "Edit columns" if it's not selected already.
