I am confused here because it looks like payment successful and refunded at same time. Therefore which one is the correct one?

Okay so the refund is initiated here: req_R4JBtUNKKwPcwo

#

It looks like it was initated an hour after the payment was created from this request: req_X5Tg5Wb4o5IkGw

yeah, and at the same time, payment succeeded?

#

so is this payment successful or not?

The payment currently looks like it was refunded based on what I can see, but my team can't look up payment statuses in detail. Especially given that this payment was paid using ACH Direct Debit and there's usually some delay for payment to be successful.

Give me some time to take a closer look to see if I can find anything.

No worries, unfortunately I wasn't able to find much details that could explain the timeline of pi_3SMvO5EiiqlFBM3y1yz4rDcd. What I did find is this page: https://support.stripe.com/questions/refunds-for-ach-direct-debit-payments โ€” which says an ACH refund can only be refunded if the payment is successful. Though I do agree it is pretty odd that the refund and payment succeeded at almost the same time based off the Stripe events on the payment.

You will need to contact Stripe Support so they can look into this payment, you can reach out to them here: https://support.stripe.com/?contact=true
