๐ Welcome to your new thread!
โฒ๏ธ We'll be here soon! Typically we respond in a few minutes, but sometimes we might take a bit longer if the server is busy or if you have a particularly tricky question.
โฑ๏ธ We close idle threads, which makes them read-only. Once a thread is closed it won't be reopened, but you can always start a new thread if you have another question.
๐ This thread will always be available, even after it's closed. You can find it again using Discord's search, or you can save this link: https://discord.com/channels/841573134531821608/1431044542421008434

If I hard-code billingAddress.address.country to US then it works as expected.

Interestingly, if I change the Country drop-down in the Payments element, I get no callback to the checkout session changing
Hi there,
I will be with you in just a second. Helping another user but i will be with you in just a moment.
OK!
I have to head out for a bit, but I can continue tomorrow. If you want to look at the work bismark did the other day, it might be useful
I think the two things I'm looking for are:
- (ideal) Actually make
billingAddress.addressoptional foractions.updateBillingAddress() - (less ideal) Update the documentation to make it clear that
billingAddress.address.countryis required
In addition, making sure that the country code is provided when a checkout session's change event fires would be great. ๐
Got it. I will close this thread then, but this thread, as well as the last one with bismarck will still be available for whoever will take your next request. Does that work for you?
I suppose ๐ Is there a good way for me to quickly open a new thread pointing at the old ones?
When you open a new thread, we automatically get a message in that thread with the past threads that happened in the last couple of days. So we will autmoatically be notified.
