Thank you, I did find a bit more info. Basically the dashboard button will always be off for French accounts, but you can create and onboard accounts by using our API. This doc shows how to do that, though what you pass to the account create API call in Step 2 may be slightly different depending on how you want your platform to be set up. If you don't know what you want to pass for controller properties we have this interactive doc that walks though when to use each setting.

You will still need to do those API calls but you only have to do it twice. The second API call gives you the URL of a Stripe-hosted page where you can fill out the rest of the details

We do have this process for connecting existing accounts, but it may be a bit more tricky/technical.

For that one, you replace {{CLIENT_ID}} in this URL with the client ID (ca_1234) that shows on your platform settings page.

Oh there we go! Yes running that curl command in that last screenshot should connect the account to your platform if you add your secret key ( sk_123) from this page:

Ah though I do see that that page is test mode, not sure if we do the same thing in live mode, but that could make things easier if so.

It mentions "the application owner's test secret key" which I think implies that the test ca_123 ID from your testboard may have been used when you set up that original URL.

Yes that is my understanding though I am not sure what exactly that process looks like. I think if you explain your situation that you want to connect these two existing accounts and that it won't be an ongoing process the support team should be able to figure out the process and ask for the info they need there.

Now the users for the Stripe Account you want to connect to need to click on it and step through the process of connecting their account to yours

step 1 : Set your redirect_uri, the URL which your user will be redirected to after connecting their account. You must specify all redirect URLs in your platform settings. If you do not include the redirect_uri parameter in your request, Stripe defaults to using the first address you have configured in your platform settings.
