It don't believe there is a way via API to determine if the Dispute was handled via SmartDisputes

at least i don't see any field/property on the Dispute object that would expose for us that information

that is unfortunate. how about my assumption that the countered dispute fee itself is not reflected on the dispute or its balance transaction. The normal dispute fee is, and it seems the new fee is not; but maybe i am mistaken? (I don't have many examples of disputes in my system at all... so i don't have many to look at for clues)
