You can create an account link with type account_onboarding and then navigate to it. That should let you fill out the test info to satisfy the account's requirements. https://docs.stripe.com/api/account_links/create#create_account_link-type
do we need to have the email that was used to originally create it?
Nope that account link should work without an email I believe
so what should the account link look like for this account ID?
acct_14CHjC4QXNU7JRrp
You create the account link with an API call and then the object will have a URL to the hosted page where you can submit your updated info. This doc has a more full guide on the process
https://docs.stripe.com/connect/custom/hosted-onboarding
got it
does it update immediately when I add the information? or do we have to wait for something to go through?
Like I added an SSN but it still says I need one on the main portal
Interesting, I would not expect that. We should update the info immediately and stop asking for it, though it can take ~minutes for the related capabilities to become active again.
and how do I submit test identity docs and SSN?
Is that to say you already created the account link and submitted the info at the end of that process?
it seems to be wanting me to submit real info
For express accounts you should be fine passing in all 0s https://docs.stripe.com/connect/testing#test-personal-id-numbers
Are you doing this on both of the account IDs you just supplied or just one? I can take a look if you have submitted this info but it still doesn't seem to be updating the actual account
