Hi there,
just to clarify, are you asking where in the documentation this behavior is mentioned?
Yes, I am asking for the documentation where this behavior mentioned for payment element zip code.
It is mentioned in our Stripe JS reference about collecting billingDetails https://docs.stripe.com/js/elements_object/create_payment_element#payment_element_create-options-fields-billingDetails
By default, this is set to auto which generates the input fields based on the user location.
It does not say how auto behaves, https://docs.stripe.com/js/elements_object/create_payment_element#payment_element_create-options-fields-billingDetails-address-postalCode
It simply says "The postal code or ZIP code, also known as PIN code in India."
Well, I am not facing any issue, but I am looking for official doc that clearly says auto setting for zip code determines the field display behavior on element to capture for our internal deciscion logs.
I must admit that I am struggling to find the correct reference too. I will need to give that feedback to the documentation team.
No problem, Thank you!
