⛔️ Stripe developers have stepped away for a short while
Please leave your questions here, and we’ll respond as soon as we're back! If you need help urgently, you can contact Stripe support for help.
hello! There's a minimum amount required for payments which is documented here : https://docs.stripe.com/currencies?presentment-currency=SG#minimum-and-maximum-charge-amounts. If your Stripe account is based in Singapore, then your settlement currency is SGD, and the presentment amount (payment amount) would need to be equivalent to at least SGD $0.50
Is there a reason why you wish to charge for less than SGD $0.50? for context, this minimum amount is set to help ensure the Stripe fee doesn’t exceed your payment amount
Thank you, for confirming
Can you please confirm whether the minimum amount requirement of SGD 0.50 applies only to credit/debit card transactions, or if it should apply to all payment mods where Stripe fees could exceed the payment amount?
This will help us better understand whether GrabPay is intentionally allowed for smaller amounts, or if this is inconsistent behavior.
gimme a while to verify this
Sure
