Hello happy to help, but I'm not fully grasping the expected vs actual behavior here. Who are the vendors and who are the merchants in this scenario? Are these two different kinds of connected accounts under your platform? Or something else?

vendor and merchant are same entity. sorry for confusion.

And when you say the issue is that the user can add their tax information instead, is that to say it is overriding some infomormation that you are passing somewhere else?

I am using connect oboarding (express). now I want to let the users to add their tax information. would you guide me how can they add their information? because in this dashboard, there is no field or option related to tax. it is also important to mention here that main account has configured the tax information.

This doc seems to have advice on that but I'm not sure how well it applies to your usecase. It seems to mention using our tax settings API or the pre-built UI from our embedded connect components to let them change settings. Is that the kind of thing you are trying to figure out?
