According to the email you got, it seems this impacts only your calls to Checkout Session and not invoice, right ?
Sorry, not sure how to integrate this with invoices as this is still in preview. I encourage you to reach out to Stripe Support or reply back to the email you've got in order to better understand the changes that you need to do in your integration
