Hi there! Voiding the invoice is the correct approach here. You mentioned that if you do this, the item is still in your subscription. If that's the case, you will need to update the subscription accordingly. Going forward, an alternative approach is to only upgrade the subscription after the payment succeeds

Okay, but if I do this, won't the customer be charged? If I change the subscription back to how it was before, won't the card or customer be charged?

You can use proration_behavior of none to disable prorations for editing that subscription

And then, once the customer has a balance on their card or the payment is successful, I don't change the subscription settings again? Not to add what they bought, but other settings such as prorating.

i tried to contact the support but nothing happen, i have 12k on hold, i was wondering if you know someone to contact that can review my case faster, i understand that you have alot of message like this but bro, it's two day that i don't eat so please help me
they just suspended my account because my store was running closure sale
