Hello, the restriction that you are running into is that the connected account is two levels down from the account making the API call. Basically if platform A has a connected account B which itself has a connected account C, A can create transfers on B and B can create transfers on C, but we don't let A make transfers for C
As far as I can see, you will need to use account B's API key to make these transfer create calls. We don't currently allow this for API calls made with account A's key. In this case because A is Woo, this depends on whether they have some way to get your API key. So you may need to talk to their support here, not sure if they have a process or configuration key where you can paste your key to be used for this
Hello Pompey, got it, thanks, where can I actually see what level my account is (like A, B, or C)? Just want to make sure I’m using the right account’s API key
👋 There was a changing of the guard so i'll be taking over.
Pompey's use of A, B, C, was for illustrative purposes. Accounts don't have a letter label to designate it's level in a hierarchy.
So if there aren’t labels, how do I figure out which account in the chain I should be using the API key from?
Sorry I feel a little bit lost 😅
If an account is listed as a connected account of the platform, then the platforms key will work.
Ie in the A, B, C illustration used previously C will not show up as a connected account under A.
