Also are you using the same USB cable when testing both devices?

Yes I have tried mulitple USB cables

Another possibility is that the device's USB connector has some problems. Did you get the same problem when testing the same with another OEM device?

Hmm. It sounds like a USB connectivity issue to me. I'd recommend you work with your OEM manufacturer and troubleshoot this problem.
