For example, you could check this customer cus_S8MZGFzKgQobiQ it have some older payments for subscriptions, but only shows 2 latest invoices

Yes that's what my original question is, and if invoices are not deleted, why I'm not able to see it here for the corresponding earlier payments made by this customer

Invoices are not deleted. There is a chance that these are not correct invoice IDs. Where did you get them from?

Let's say invoices id might be incorrect, but e.g for this customer, I can't see invoices of earlier payments, It shows only 2 of the latest, but we can see earlier payments corrspinding to subs made right?

Ah apologies, I realised this is test mode. In test mode we do delete Subscriptions created 90 days ago. So any invoice related to it gets deleted. This doesn't happen for live mode Subscriptions.
