I ws told that doing this the best that I could do
One other workaround, would be by setting proration_behavior to none and set billing_cycle_anchor to a future date (when the trial should end), without adding a trial period to the Subscription
Im just wondering if flexible billing can be another workarround
Its hard to believe that there is no way of avoiding an useless 0$ invoice when starting a free trial

Yes, these invoices are generated for stripe-facilitated trials because you've offered services at no cost and the trial will end and some point, and typically start charging. In some jurisdictions, there are rules about notice around trials, trial ending and opt-in/opt-out of ongoing billing that we need to adhere to.
