๐Ÿ‘‹ Welcome to your new thread!

โฒ๏ธ We'll be here soon! Typically we respond in a few minutes, but sometimes we might take a bit longer if the server is busy or if you have a particularly tricky question.

hello, thnaks, nice to meet you.

restive oracle
#

we don't offer "paid" trials

#

but you can use coupons or discounts to apply to the checkout session to make the first period be charged only the 1$ amount you want

mighty fulcrum
#

something like :

#

'discounts' => [[ 'coupon' => 'coupon_123' ]],
// or let the customer enter a promo code you created from that coupon:
// 'allow_promotion_codes' => true,

restive oracle
#

yes

#

at least in this way the customer will see that they pay 1$ today and X$ in the next billing cycle

mighty fulcrum
#

perfect, it worked. thanks for help.

#

When creating coupon, there is "duration" => once. What does it mean ? It can be redeemed once per customer? Or globaly coupon can be used only once?

restive oracle
#

no it's per usage per subscription per customer

#

means it would be applied on one invoice (the first one)

#

it doesn't restrict the customer from using it on multiple subscriptions, or multiple users using the coupon

mighty fulcrum
#

ok.. custoemr wont use it as im passing it only in API request.. so, if i understand correctly, all custoemr will get $1 price, when they make subscription purchase.

#

$checkout_session = $stripe->checkout->sessions->create([

#

'discounts' => [[ 'coupon' => 'discount_tapping_circle_first_month_296_off' ]],
