got it. instead of using Radar, you should use a Stripe feature that disable Amex payments on the Payment Element, which also removes the card brand.
to access this feature, you'll need to contact Stripe Support, and ask to get the "card brand filtering " feature on the Payment Element.

you need to re-contact Stripe support and push back. and clearly mention "card brand filtering".
