We are building a digital tipping platform based in the UAE. The platform structure is as follows:
Tip Receivers: They can only receive tips. They cannot send tips or issue refunds.
Tip Givers: They can send tips using their cards.
Initially, we explored setting up accounts under the UAE region, but we learned that Express or Standard individual accounts cannot be created for AE (UAE).
To proceed, we have set up a UK-based Stripe merchant account for the platform. Our question:
Will using a UK-based Stripe account remove those UAE limitations? Or are there still any restrictions we need to be aware of when tipping users in the UAE through this setup?

We haven’t gone live yet, so no errors so far. We just want to confirm compliance before onboarding real users. Our connected accounts will belong to individuals in the UAE, while the platform account is UK-based.
Is it fully supported to onboard UAE individuals as connected accounts under our UK platform account without any hidden limitations, especially for payouts?
