I wanted to ask at this stage can I get a callback on clicking the cross icon to show some kind of confirmation dialog before cancelling the transaction and regaining control from my app
Which 'cross' are you referring to? When the present card UI is displayed?

when the Stripe SDK takes over the screen to accept the card
