as you can see credit grant expiry date is 28 october
but there was an transaction on nov 28
i did not change/update the expiration date or amount after creating this credit grant
Can you share the invoice Id on which there was the credit grant applied on the 28th of Nov?

In the meantime, the credit grant can be applied if:
The invoice’s period_end occurs before the credit grant’s expires_at time, if set.
https://docs.stripe.com/billing/subscriptions/usage-based/billing-credits#credit-grant-eligibility:~:text=The invoice’s period,time%2C if set.
thanks, checking...
yes but in this case the period_end was definitely after the expires_at time of the credit grant
maybe just a weird issue with the simulation time ?
Yes agreed, that invoice's period_end is at 2025-11-28 13:13:00 UTC
And does this happen in live mode ?
Maybe this is some restriction with test clocks, let me check further...
i am not sure actually
i can't find a similar case in live mode, but we haven't had this integration live for long enough to properly test it
I see, let me check further...
Ok so there were two credit grants applied to that invoice:
- credgr_test_61TAll5n9CqMj65Gm41QpX766vDR1TIW expires on Oct 28th
- credgr_test_61TAltcqtT4MW3l7c41QpX766vDR16mW expires on Nov 28th
Still not sure why the credit grant credgr_test_61TAll5n9CqMj65Gm41QpX766vDR1TIW was applied actually to the invoice in_1S1O76QpX766vDR143GaFerv
yea it should have been just one of them
