my user added a card to its profile. after some time the card got expired and user want to update it(expiration date)
Gotcha, so expiration date details you can update directly via the API if you get the new month/year from the customer:

That's an older Cards API, if your integration is using card objects
eg card_123 rather than pm_123

if customer loses their credit card and has a new one issued with new CVC.
what is the best way to handle that?
The simpler approach is probably to collect the entire card again, since the number often changes for lost cards too
