To test your integration, I'd recommend creating a Sandbox. You can find the steps of creating a Sandbox here: https://docs.stripe.com/sandboxes/dashboard/manage
Sandbox or test mode account should be accessible in the account switcher at the top left corner of your Dashboard
We'll give it a try but is there any way you could possibly answer our question regarding our Demodata account? It seems to have vanished
Also it seems that 7 of our customers connected accounts are "restricted"....how do you unrestrict an account? I'm thinking one of those must be the demodata account although it's only name is letters and numbers
Is your test account a Standalone or connected account? If it's Standalone account, it can be found at the top left corner of the account switcher in the Dashboard. If it's a connected account, it can be found in the test mode or Sandbox account > navigate to "Connect" to find the connected account

Do you have the account ID? We can only look for the account by ID, but not by name

If you can see in there. Nauman (the last connected account in the list) is our developer. He was using his personal account for dev a few months ago but we haven't done anything for a while so I guess they restricted his account too. So we're having a hard time testing anything right now. Can he get his account unrestricted? He created that account a few months ago when we couldn't find the demodata account
Did you click "Test mode" to access the test mode account?
You will be on live mode by default in the Dashboard
To access test mode, you'd need to navigate to "Test mode"
I turned that on about 30 mins ago but didn't know what to do so i turned it back off

Sorry, I don't really get your issue now. If you are in "test mode", this means that you're accessing test account on acct_19pticJUS6v8XR4d
Is test account the same as Sandbox?
Sandbox is the new form of test account. "Test mode" is a legacy test account.
We're just trying to use one account, any account to test our mobile app. But the creds we currently have are being rejected when we try a transaction in the mobile app. Looking at the accounts, we were using Naumans at the bottom of the list for testing but his account has since be restricted so we can no longer use his account creds.
acct_19pticJUS6v8XR4d this is our ACcountID as mentioned earlier, does this master account have an apikey and login that we can use for testing or do we need to create a connected account like Nauman did when signing up for a personal account and he linked it to our acct_19pticJUS6v8XR4d account
I'm sorry but like I said I only come in here once a year to look up something or when we do an update. Stripe is a pretty complicated interface. But I'm trying as best I can

Do you plan to test your integration in test or live mode?
Test only using test cards
the update is currently linked to our STaging data...not live data

First of all, Nauman is connected in live mode, but not in test mode. To test integration in test mode, I'd recommend:
- Create a Sandbox account: https://docs.stripe.com/sandboxes/dashboard/manage
- Create a new connected account
- Test your integration against the new connected account
I know he was annoyed that day when we couldnt find the Demodata account so that's why he created his own personal account to get back to coding as quickly as possible
Regarding "restricted" status, the connected account must complete onboarding to get the full access

Okay will do. If I did it once or month or so I'd remember all of this but it's so far between
One last chat River! Is there a pool of Stripe experts that you can hire for $60-100hr or something to assist with small issues like we're having? I know it would take less than an hour to add a connected account and plug the creds into our staging site to test our mobile app. Do you work freelance or anything?
