Hi @wheat rover , what if the customer has a Standard Stripe account based in the EU and then are connected to our platform?

If we were to allow PayPal on our platform, to enable our standard stripe users transact with payPal, and then create a transfers after they settle payment. Would that be ok to do?

Is your platform in the US? If so, you will not be able to enable it on your platform account.

Could you elaborate more on this create a transfers after they settle payment? Will the transfer be from your platform to the connected account or the connected account to you platform?

Yes, we are in the US based. So my thought to satisify the needs of our European customers was allowing our EU customers to leverage our platform as if they're taking payment directly from their direct customers.

Since they have access to PayPal as a European company, we would build that option for them to enable.

After they've settled the sell, we would make a call their Stripe account to transfer our platform fee from that transaction.

I guess it would be a roundabout way of collecting an application fee.

Is there a reason why PayPal isn't available to US companies?

Direct charge is not supported for PayPal so you will not be able to create one for your EU connected account.
