Hi there, I am here. I am just wrapping up another conversation and will be with you shortly.
Sorry again for the delay. I see your statement. Can you clarify what exactly the question is?
i want to onboard connected account why it's requiring mcc and url
my connected account is my employee, he don't have mcc and url. but when i'm onboarding a employee as a connected account these field are mendatory for verification
can you please guide on this.
are you there?
i'm creating connected account through Api
MCCs are used for classifying a business by the types of goods or services it provides. This requirement is part of the onboarding process to ensure accuracy and compliance. URLs from eligible users are required to verify the user's commercial activity across Stripe products and services. A valid URL should have content, match the account info, and provide a sufficient product or service description. This is part of ensuring that Stripe can verify the legitimacy and details of the business being onboarded .
i understand that, but my question was i'm onboarding a connected account (that is basically my employee). i want to add a him as a conencted account to pay him his sallery.
so how can i add his mcc and url?
?
i will use this functionality in my payroll software, so how can we add every employee mcc and url??????
That use case is rather uncommon so please give me a moment to look for more information how to support you correctly.
I did some more research and have come to the conlusion, that your use case might not really work for Stripe Connect. tripe Connected Accounts are built for platform/marketplace relationships rather than employer/employee relationships. Using Connected Accounts for payroll might not comply with employment tax withholding requirements, as the system isn't designed to handle tax withholding, benefits deductions, and other payroll-specific needs. Connected Accounts also require business verification information (like MCC and URL) that may not be appropriate for an employer-employee relationship.
so how it is possible using stripe??
Your use case might not be possible. By default our system is not designed for this.
but when i clearly informed this business model to sales rep of stripe, he suggest me about this
can we use general type mcc or my own company url for doing this?
?????
I am not able to give appropriate advice if this is legaly correct, but from a technical standpoint it would be possible.
we are dealing with employment tax withholding requirements in our own software
Can Stirpe help us with this case, if we deal with tax requirements
Again, it's a use case that Stripe is not designed for. And we here can only give technical support for API related questions.
so who is responsible person of stripe, who can guide us about this. because stripe rep guide us wrong
?????
