If the answer is as simple as "it's the last 4 digits of the card" in this case with Link - is there a test bank account I can use to check that isnt 0000

Yeah, my testing pulls up a 0000 each time which aligns with the above documentation
Looks like yes, for non-card payment types we assign a fixed value to certain fields. For the last 4 it's 0000.

Display brand is other
All check results are null```
None that I can see, not on the charge or balance transaction object either.
