Hi, looking into this now!
Sure
Let's double check a couple of things:
Have you enabled the Google Pay API in AndroidManifest.xml?
https://docs.stripe.com/google-pay?platform=react-native#react-native-create-enable-google-pay
Did you check if the device is set up for Google Pay?
https://docs.stripe.com/google-pay?platform=react-native#react-native-init
Can you complete a payment with the 4242 test card and share the request or payment intent ID?
Sure
Transfer Id : tr_3RxpWkEglHbGm1gZ0RaslvFM
Connected account : acct_1RxSpKIAhHIHdVQa
Payment Method : pm_1RxplGEglHbGm1gZRnZYi3Q6
Payment Intent Id : pi_3RxpWkEglHbGm1gZ0KWcrBjd
Is this a problem because I'm going to test Google Pay while I'm in India?
Is this helpful for you?
Yes, thanks for sharing that. You will not be able to test Google Pay or Apple Pay from an device based in India unfortunately, as it is not a supported location https://docs.stripe.com/google-pay
Customer locations
Worldwide except India
We currently do not support Google Pay and Apple Pay on Stripe Checkout and Elements for Stripe accounts and customers in India. See Apple documentation for more information on supported countries.
It should work if you test using a device based in another country
ok
I am able to test Apple Pay in india with the simulator.
So is there any way to test google pay in India?
Unfortunately no, it's not supported for India based devices
Like I have added a VPN and then will do the same?
It's possible, but you may need to have someone from outside of India test this
