There are no parameters on the SetupIntents API that let's you do that but once the Payment Method has been saved after confirming the SetupIntent, you can make another API request to set it as default for the Customer using Update a customer API - https://docs.stripe.com/api/customers/update#update_customer-invoice_settings-default_payment_method
yeah thought that might be the only way, can I raise it as a feature request somehow?
