when you say "be logged into", what exactly do you mean? Logged in where?

A connect customer of mine goes to squarespace, clicks "connect with stripe" and is asked to log into their stripe account.

Since it is a custom connected account, the platform would have to manage third party platforms and integrations for the connected account.

I am not 100% sure how Sqaurespace integrates with Stripe epsecially in the case of custom connected accounts. You would need to reach out to Squarespace support for that.
