Hi! I'm a little loss with actual question. I understand you need 2 payments. A deposit + final payment. However, you want to auto charge the second payment. What do you mean by that?

Hi! Yes, a deposit and the remaining payment- but I want the remaining payment to be scheduled to be charged on a specific date/time. Here's an example:

CustomerA purchases from VendorA an item that will be delivered on August 15th for the deposit price of $100 and base price of $300. Customer A decides to pay the deposit upfront and puts in their CC details, it's saved, and is charged $100.

August 15th comes around and CustomerA's payment method is automatically charged the remaining payment of $300.

Restrictions: 1) The payment must be direct from CustomerA to VendorA and only the collected fees must go to the platform account (me). 2) The saved payment information should ideally be on the platform account and be applied to the transaction with the connected account (VendorA).

You're unable to auto-schedule a charge unless it is a subscription.

  1. The payment must be direct from CustomerA to VendorA and only the collected fees must go to the platform account (me).
If customer A is created on Vendor / Connected Account A, you will need to do a direct charge.
  1. The saved payment information should ideally be on the platform account and be applied to the transaction with the connected account (VendorA).
If you're doing a direct charge, you'll need the payment method to be on Vendor / Connected Account A.

So to accomplish this, would I be able to create a one time subscription charge for the scheduled date?
