This is related to the original issue back on the 17th of July, which got escalated to support. I had received an email on the 30th, that there was going to be an update for the M2 reader within a couple days of that, but the required date for the update is saying August 12th...

it's been a few days since i was last testing this, so i had to get other things in the code before i could get back to this issue.
because we were having disconnects with the reader during the process of initially connecting to it
